With over 16 years of industry experience and a deep background in DIY filmmaking, Chrussy proves herself to be a passionate and dedicated film worker and creative. On a personal level, chrussy is particularly interested in experimental and hybrid storytelling that blends mediums and sources, planning with spontaneity and engages montage as a means of cultural criticism. As a European settler and queer person, chrussy is naturally drawn to themes of colonialism, race, gender, sexuality, and relationships. Professionally, they are committed to working in support of the growing presence of queer and Indigenous stories in film and media production. Her roles across industry and indie projects have included assistant locations manager, production office assistant, editor, camera operator, and actor.
